Southbound passengers will travel by coach to Seymour, where they will transfer to the train.
Coaches will stop as required between Euroa and Seymour.
Passengers travelling from Melbourne (Southern Cross Station) to Benalla will change from the train to coaches at Seymour.
During the works Inland Rail construction partner John Holland will also remove the old east railway line and begin building the new station forecourt, car park and bus stop.
From Thursday, April 9, the Benalla Station car park will be partially closed with limited parking and the V/Line bus drop-off and pick-up areas relocated to Mackellar St.
Designated accessible and on-street public parking will be available along Carrier St.
Pedestrian access to the station from Mackellar St will be maintained.

The Nunn St level crossing will also close from Monday, April 20 to Monday, May 11.
Vehicles will be detoured via Mitchell St and heavy vehicles via Faithfull St.
An accessible taxi shuttle service will be available for pedestrians.
Inland Rail will continue to keep the community updated as works evolve.
An Inland Rail spokesperson said passengers were advised to follow all on-site signage and allow extra travel time.
“To build the new station forecourt and car park, we need to remove the existing railway line,” the spokesperson said.
“Trains will use new east and west tracks; however, they will not be able to stop at Benalla until the new platform is open later this year.
“We understand this may cause some inconvenience. We are working closely with V/Line and our construction partner John Holland to support travellers the best we can.
“We thank the people of Benalla and for their patience and co-operation as we transform the station precinct.”
