Cobram State Emergency Service members were honoured towards the end of 2021 for their hard work and dedication in protecting the community.
A special presentation night was held at Presto Pizza and Pasta where volunteers were presented with awards.
SES operation office trainer Troy Millner, from the north-east regional SES headquarters, presented the awards:
- Carrie Hawke — 20-year service medal;
- Corey Herezo — 20-year service medal (presented to Carrie Hawke in his absence);
- Darren Hawke — 10-year service medal (presented to Carrie Hawke in his absence)
- Jodie Graham —15-year service medal;
- Jinette Graham — 15-year service medal;
- Wendy Tucknott — 15, 20, 25 and 30-year medals;
- John Elphinstone (unable to attend) —40-year service medal;
- Timothy Ivone (unable to attend) — five-year service medal; and
- Matthew Clarke (unable to attend) — five-year service medal.
