Held in the Dunlop Room at the Deniliquin RSL Club, the event provided attendees with access to valuable information, advice and employment pathways from a wide range of businesses and training organisations.
It was supported by Workforce Australia, Deniliquin Business Chamber, Edward River Council and Deniliquin RSL Club, with organisers describing the day as a positive step toward strengthening local workforce connections.
Deniliquin Business Chamber vice president Helen Flisher said Job Link was an excellent example of collaboration, with chamber, council and Workforce Australia working together.
“We're thrilled with how the day went, with a range of providers and employers, as well as jobseekers.”
Organisers thanked all businesses, training providers and attendees, as well as Deniliquin RSL Club for hosting the event and Jesmine Coromandel from Workforce Australia for helping bring it together.
