Younger brother Mason Howard was also recognised for his efforts through the year, as the Academic Excellence Stage 2 recipient, while Katelyn Paton received the Year 5 Academic Excellence Award.
The awards presentation, held in the final week of the term, was also a chance to farewell the 2025 Year 6 students, and welcome incoming leaders.
Edward’s school captions for 2026 are Rhiannon McLeod and Claudia McMahon, with Chayce Ives and Mia Booth as vice captains.
