Emergency services respond to incident at Goulburn Rd

A man has been flown to a Melbourne hospital following an industrial incident at Echuca on Monday, June 23.

Emergency services responded to the incident at a business premises on Goulburn Rd, Echuca.

Ambulance Victoria, Victoria Police, CFA and Search and Rescue were all on scene at the property for a reported rescue, according to VicEmergency.

A Victoria Police spokesperson said police were on scene at an industrial incident and a male was taken to hospital in a critical condition.

An air ambulance helicopter landed in the paddock across from Rich River Tourist Park on Bynan St, close to the scene.

An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said one person had been airlifted to The Alfred hospital in Melbourne.

The incident will be investigated by WorkSafe.
