To be held at the South West Music Regional Conservatorium in Deniliquin, it will also mark the official launch of the 2026 Live Music Concert Series.
The 2026 series will showcase a collaboration with the NSW Regional Conservatorium, with musicians from and the Riverina Conservatorium in Wagga Wagga.
The Kurrajong Ensemble brings together an elegant combination of two flutes and classical guitar, enhanced by a selection of other woodwind instruments, including alto and bass flutes, to create a rich and textured soundscape.
The group is known for its imaginative arrangements and commitment to expanding the repertoire for this distinctive instrumental blend.
Audiences can expect a beautifully curated program featuring tangos by Astor Piazzolla, waltzes by Dmitri Shostakovich and Aram Khachaturian, and a moving musical interpretation of Hans Christian Andersen’s The Little Match Girl.
The concert will also transport listeners to a 19th-century soirée through elegant and expressive compositions.
“This will be very beautiful music,” said SWM events and communications manager Gemma Rennie.
“We just want to encourage the community to come down and support the event, which they always do, and we are always grateful.”
The concert will be held at 241-245 Cressy St, with doors opening at 1.30pm and the performance starting at 2pm.
Tickets are $25 full price, or free for Live Music Subscribers and under-18s.
Tickets are available online via Humanitix, by phone at 5881 4736, or in person at the Conservatorium.
