Located behind Kurrajong Waratah’s Napier St facilities, the development is being delivered on land owned by the disability service provider.
Proceeds from lot sales will help fund new assisted‑living group homes for people with disabilities in the region.
The project, first tabled in 2018, gained momentum when Ash Hall of Ash Real Estate partnered with Kurrajong to progress the design and approvals.
Of the 29 lots, 25 are available to the general public.
The other four have been reserved for supported accommodation, ensuring the development benefits both the wider community and the disability sector.
Lot sizes range from 745m² to 1290m² and are priced between $130,000 and $150,000, with all modern services, power, water, sewer, telecommunications, kerb and guttering included.
Access is via McMillan St, with two new courts and a retention dam built on the 3.4 hectare site.
One of the courts, Yallambee Ct, has been named in honour of the community committee that first established disability services in Deniliquin in the early 1970s.
Mr Hall said interest in the estate has been strong.
“It’s a good high class development, within walking distance of the CBD, and with South school also very close by, it’s ideal for families.“
Kurrajong Estate sits just 1km from Deniliquin’s town centre, offering easy access to schools, sporting facilities, cafes, boutique producers and restaurants.
House and land packages in the estate are available through Cavalier Homes, Hotondo Homes and Metricon.
