A wonderful day was enjoyed by guests from the Narrandera, Leeton and Griffith garden clubs.
Guest speaker was Leonie Schubert from Must Love Flowers of Finley.
Leonie gave an insight into how she came to love flowers, leading to the development of her flower farm and shop, and also gave a wonderful demonstration of arranging native flowers using two unusual containers.
Members of the Coleambally Garden Club provided a delicious lunch of soup, sandwiches and slices, which was enjoyed by all in attendance.
Thank you to everyone who made the day a huge success.
The next meeting will be the AGM on October 10.

The Bushfire Danger Period (BFDP) for the MIA District begins on October 1 and will run to March 31, 2027.
From October 1, you will need a permit to burn.
If you have any timber, wood or prunings that need to be burnt, please do so before then.
Regardless of the time of year, if you’re planning to burn on your property, you need to notify the fire authorities and your neighbours at least 24 hours before you light up.
This helps prevent unnecessary emergency calls and fire brigade responses.
Notifications are only valid for 21 days. Go to www.rfs.nsw.gov.au/notify.
