The charges relate to fraud allegations, and goods in custody.
About 10.35am, police attended a service station in Hardinge St, Deniliquin and spoke with two occupants of a van that had been stopped.
It is alleged that both were in possession of identity documents and other materials, including alleged possession of equipment to produce identity documents.
A 35 year-old man was subsequently charged with 47 sequences in relation to drive vehicle whilst disqualified, goods in custody, possess equipment to make identification to commit indictable offence, deal with identity information to commit indictable offence.
The 38 year-old woman was charged with 47 sequences in relation to goods in custody, possess equipment to make identification to commit indictable offence, deal with identity information to commit indictable offence and an arrest warrant.
Both were refused bail to appear before Bail Division Court yesterday. The outcome was unknown at the time of going to print.
Tools stolen
Police are investigating after reports of a break-in at a Napier St premises in Deniliquin.
Between 4.30pm last Friday, June 12 and 10.30am Monday, a tool chest was stolen.

Truck tyre fire
Emergency services were called to a truck fire on Moonee Swamp Deniliquin about 5.30pm Monday.
The tyres on a heavy vehicle caught alight as it travelled along the road.
The driver was able to stop and, with assistance of the Rural Fire Service and nearby residents, extinguish the flames.
Bail refused
A 26 year-old man has been charged with allegedly breaching the conditions of an apprehended violence order.
Police were conducting an AVO compliance check at a Deniliquin home about 5.50pm, and allege the man was there in contravention of the AVO.
He was arrested and taken to the Deniliquin Police Station, where he was charged with the breach and refused bail.
He was to appear before Bail Division Court yesterday. An outcome was not known at the time of going to print.
