Funfields is a family-owned Victorian attraction based in Whittlesea, about 40 minutes from Melbourne, and has been welcoming generations of families for more than four decades.
The company is acknowledging the extraordinary efforts of CFA volunteers across the state who have sacrificed time with their families over summer to protect lives, homes and communities.
As a small gesture of thanks, Funfields is offering CFA members a complimentary day at the park for the remainder of January.
The park recently celebrated its first full summer following a $10 million upgrade, including two major new attractions: Lava Lagoon Lazy River and Cyber Drift Bumper Cars. The park employs more than 300 locals each season.
CFA members need to present proof of membership on arrival, such as a CFA ID card, brigade letter or email, or a screenshot of their CFA member account or roster, to receive free entry.
“Our CFA volunteers give so much of themselves to protect others,” Funfields’ Flynn Simsek said.
“This is our way of saying thank you and offering a chance to relax and recharge after an incredibly tough period.”
Free admission applies only to the CFA members. Day passes range from about $60 to $70 each. For details of the theme park, visit funfields.com.au
