It is inviting you to dive into summer fun at the new Community Pool Party from 6pm.
It’s a free family-friendly celebration, with free pool entry, kids’ games and activities, pizza, music, and an outdoor movie screening of the family favourite Home to round out the night.
It will be relaxed, social, and open to everyone.
Mayor Cr Ashley Hall said the event is about creating easy, welcoming ways for people to connect.
“This is one of those nights where you can just turn up, cool off, and enjoy being part of our community,” Cr Hall said.
“It’s free, it’s family-friendly, and it’s all about having a bit of fun together.
“We’re encouraging everyone to come along, bring their family and friends, and enjoy a great summer evening at the pool.”
Cr Hall said the pool party was organised to complement Australia Day activities in the community, and offer another chance to celebrate your way.
“We know that not everyone in our community wants to participate in Australia Day activities on the 26th.
“This event has been designed in collaboration with community members to be an inclusive, informal evening at one of our most loved venues.
“No tickets, no cost, no speeches, just a chance to spend time together.”
The pool party begins about 6pm, with the movie screening expected to begin about 8.30pm.
