Free seniors' services expo

A free event that will shine a light on the services, programs and resources available to older community members will be held in Deniliquin.

Supported by Charles Sturt University and the Three Rivers Department of Rural Health, the Deniliquin Seniors’ Services Expo will be held Wednesday, October 14 at the Deniliquin RSL Club.

It will be useful for older people, their families, carers, and people in their support networks, who can meet the people behind local services, ask questions, learn about eligibility requirements, and better understand how to access the support available.

The expo will run from 10am to 2pm, with ‘Lightning Talks’ from 10.30am to noon.

You will hear from experts on topics like ageing naturally, preventative care for kidney health, the Wellness 2 Age evidence-based program and recognising coercive control.

There will be lucky door prizes, giveaways and tea, coffee and light refreshments will be provided.
