The Deniliquin Stadium’s popular school holiday program is set to return in the term three holidays, offering five days of sport, games and creative activities for local children.

In week one of the break, the program will be held on Monday and Tuesday, and on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in week two.
Children can be dropped off from 7.45am and collected up to 5.15pm, with structured activities running throughout the day.
Stadium manager John Arthur said the program continues to attract strong community support, with an average of 40 participants participating each day during the winter program.
Designed to promote active lifestyles and encourage a lifelong passion for community sport, the program includes sports drills, competitive games, skill-building challenges and craft activities.
“The kids have plenty of opportunities to stay active, learn new skills and have fun in a safe environment,” Mr Arthur said.
Popular activities featured in previous holiday programs have included pickleball, dodgeball, musical chairs basketball, agility testing and fitness challenges such as 90-second planks.
Following hte success of the winter pilot, the spring sessions will be welcoming toilet-trained four year-olds, making the program more accessible for local families.
The cost is $45 per child per day, with family discounts available. Children must bring morning and afternoon tea, lunch and a drink bottle.
