The Jerilderie Australia Day Committee is very grateful to the Jerilderie Sports Club for stepping into the breach on Australia Day evening, and providing a safe and cool environment for the presentation of the Citizenship Awards.
The committee thanks the Sports Club for hosting the awards at short notice, and thanks members of the community who went with the flow and attended the event at the club.
The Australia Day raffle of a $200 voucher from IGA was drawn on the night and won by Greg Purcell.
The postponed fireworks, barbecue, spinning wheel, and the glow products will make a re-appearance on Saturday March 21, so save the date.
Congratulations to our award winners - John Crittenden, Chloe Rorato, Charlie Rorato, and Milla Rorato.

Parishioners of Jerilderie’s St Joseph’s Catholic Church are reminded that Mass this weekend will be on Saturday, February 7, at 6pm, not 8.30am on Sunday.
The change to the Vigil Mass on the first Saturday of each month is for a trial period, and feedback will be appreciated.
The cool change on Sunday was a welcome relief, bringing respite to man and beast, and gardens, before the next onslaught of trying weather.
