Her love for photography began when she was about 15 years old.
Kerri stood at the end of the street she grew up on with an old digital Kodak camera and photographed a sunset.
“After seeing how beautiful that photo came out, I was hooked,” Kerri said
She now runs her own photography business, doing photoshoots and photographing weddings, birthdays and other special events.
However, it is the photos she takes in her free time that have drawn the most attention to her work.
Her photos have been displayed in digital exhibitions in Singapore, America, Budapest, Sweden and several other countries.
Soon, Kerri will have one of her pieces physically displayed at the B-Side Gallery in Melbourne.
The photo, titled ‘The Watchful,’ features a kookaburra that lives in Kerri’s backyard.
The exhibition in which it will feature will be showcased from January 19 to 21 next year.
This is a significant achievement for Kerri, as it is one of the first times she has had her work physically displayed in an exhibition.
Most recently, Kerri received news that a photograph she took of a sunflower has been selected to be displayed digitally in Columbia.
