Coordinated by the Australian Bureau of Agricultural & Resource Economics & Sciences (ABARES), the survey helps identify farming trends, knowledge and networks, and their impacts on sustainability and productivity.
“By collecting this data, we can identify trends and assess their impact on sustainability and productivity,” ABARES said.
“Insights from NALMS will assist government to develop and improve programs that support sustainable agriculture and improve the long-term wellbeing of Australia’s agricultural sector and rural communities.
“We also look at land manager knowledge networks, and awareness and involvement in government-funded programs.”
The survey will be conducted via a mix of hardcopy and online modes, and a selection farmers across all agricultural sectors in Australia will be invited to participate.
Your invite will include survey login details. If you have misplaced the invitation, please call the Social Research Centre on 1800 023 040 or email nalms@srcentre.com.au for assistance.
When completed, study results will be available at https://www.agriculture.gov.au/abares/research-topics/social-sciences/current-surveys.
