Born and raised in Tasmania, Nic moved to Brisbane to study at the Queensland University of Technology, and since graduating, has worked in various jobs in South Australia and central Queensland.
“I’m loving northern Victoria so far,” Nic said.
“The people are beyond friendly, and have made me feel right at home.
“I can’t wait to get out and explore this great part of the world.”
Nic admits to occasionally neglecting studies in favour of travelling and adventure, squeezing in trips to different continents between university semesters.
Most recently, he visited South America, where he spent 12 weeks backpacking, hiking, climbing and mountaineering, but his favourite place is south-west Tassie, where he can enjoy the rugged landscape.
A keen runner, climber and hiker, Nic, 23, counts himself fortunate to live a lifestyle that keeps him both fit and entertained.
“I have most recently taken up trail running, competing in long-distance events around Australia.”
