In Division 1, Deni’s top midweek side produced a strong start, highlighted by an impressive win to Joanne Bovell’s rink. She steered her rink to a commanding 23-11 victory.
Paul Snare’s team battled hard throughout a tight contest, finishing locked at 16-all after a tactical final end.
However, the margin swung dramatically on the third rink, with Paul Clear’s side facing a tough day, defeated 11-33.
This left Deni short overall despite the competitive effort.
Division 3 played with confidence and consistency.
Alan Hardcastle led from the front, with his rink delivering a dominant 33-20 win.
He was well supported by Bruce Clancy, whose rink secured a solid 23-17 victory, sealing an overall win for Deni away from home.
Both teams will look to build momentum as the season continues, with clear signs of promise across the club.
