Known for its beautiful heritage architecture and old-time ambience, the Town Hall will be transformed into a pop-up cinema for three Tuesday evenings in January.
The program offers a unique setting for family-friendly films and popular blockbusters, with two films to be shown each day of the series.
Entry is free and no reserved seating is required.
Doors open 30 minutes before each screening, with the schedule as follows:
Tuesday, January 6: 5pm – Minecraft (PG); 7.30pm – Jurassic World: Rebirth (M).
Tuesday, January 13: 5pm – Bad Guys 2 (G); 7.30pm – The Fall Guy (M).
Tuesday, January 20: 5pm – The Smurfs (G); 7.30pm – Happy Gilmore (PG).
Attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks and non-alcoholic drinks.
Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
Mayor Ashley Hall said the initiative is about creating opportunities for the community to come together and enjoy something special.
“Deniliquin doesn’t have a cinema, so this is a fantastic way to give families and kids that big-screen experience right here,” he said.
“The Town Hall’s beautiful old-time ambience makes it the perfect setting for a summer movie night.”
The Free Summer Movie Series is proudly presented by Edward River Council and Visit Deni.
