New look club for 2024

The District Veteran & Vintage Car Club’s newest life member has taken the helm of the group in 2024.

Val Maher, who was bestowed life membership in December, was elected president at this month's annual general meeting.

Ian Purkeljc will assist her as vice president.

The secretary for the next 12 months will be Dol Pollard and Kevin Stonham will be the treasurer.

David Lang will handle publicity, while Bob White will be the group’s editor.

Roger Pollard will fill the role of registrations officer, and will also serve as a vehicle inspector alongside Bruce Wells and Scott Kocks.

The catering committee is Alison Wilson, Christine Weathers, Pam Wells and Lyn Rose.

The DDV&VCC was established in 1967.

In addition to regular meetings, group members attend car rallies together.
