Regular readers may have noticed we’ve not included our usual ‘The Year That Was’ summaries from 2025 in the first few editions of the year.
Instead, we’ve complied some of the biggest and most interesting stories of the year into a special souvenir edition.
The Pastoral Times 2025 Year in Review takes a week-by-week look back at some of the biggest headlines, best photos, and your community and sporting achievements.
The 68-page magazine also includes some ‘year in review’ summaries from some of our local businesses and organisations.
Pastoral Times general manager Nigel Lutton said the magazine provides an opportunity to reflect on the past 12 months, and what may still be ahead for the future.
“Whether it is by reading them in the newspaper, on our mobile app, or by liking and sharing them on social media, we remain committed to providing stories about people you know, in a community that you care about, by people you can trust.
“We have kicked off 2026 by launching this new publication - The 2025 Year In Review.
“What will your contribution and story be during 2026, and will we be reading about it in next year’s 2026 review? We certainly hope so.”
The inaugural 2025 Year in Review will be included as a free insert in the Deniliquin Pastoral Times next Friday, January 30.
Additional free copies will be available from our office in Cressy St from early February.
