McCafé Manager Kahli Reeves said the McCafé’s new brand tagline and mantra ‘We’re Coffee People’ is represented through both the uniform and barista wearing it.
‘‘Our new on-trend barista uniforms partner nicely with our new McCafé coffee blend offering some ‘street cred’ to what we do and signal to our customers that we’re serious about coffee.
‘‘The old uniform was a purple crew shirt and the new uniform comprises a white and navy striped t-shirt paired with a denim apron which definitely make our baristas stand out from the crowd.
‘‘If you see one of our crew members in the new uniform, it means they are a barista and that they understand, care and are passionate about coffee,’’ she said.
Mrs Reeves said Deniliquin McDonald’s is focused on providing crew with extensive training to uphold their values.
‘‘We have been in depth and advanced barista training and I, along with all the other managers, have worked hard over the last few months to continuously improve and develop our existing barista skills and knowledge base to bring new people into the McCafé fold, through both theoretical and practical training.
‘‘Moving forward, McDonald’s Deniliquin has exciting new changes coming, with an enthusiastic and passionate management team supporting a great crew,’’ Mrs Reeves said.
