Coordinated by the team at the Deniliquin Local Aboriginal Land Council, it’s a popular family day out.
The primary aim is to connect with community and break down barriers.
Held in the Deniliquin CBD for the last few years, there’s been a change of venue for 2026.
Celebrating the recent expansion of Werai Land & Water Aboriginal Corporation, the festivities will be hosted at its new facilities at 52 Junction St, Deniliquin (between FITNOW! gym and the Deniliquin RSL park).
The market will run from 10.30am-2.30pm on Thursday, July 9.
The market offers a chance to learn about and support local Indigenous culture.
Market stalls will be a mix of local community members selling their products, and service providers who will share information on how they support the community.
There’s also activities for young and old alike, including a jumping castle, arts and crafts, special activities for “littlies” and even a popcorn stand.
And don’t miss the barbecue provided by the Deniliquin Lions Club.
