Winter warming ‘flannies’, onesies, fuzzy slippers and dressing gowns might not be traditional school attire, unless it’s PJ Day at St Michael’s School.

One of the popular annual events on the school calendar, students and staff alike dressed to theme on Friday.
Some even made a little bit of extra effort, donning crazy hairstyles to add to their outfits.
And with prizes up for grabs for best bed hair, most loved bed toy, grooviest pyjamas and best overall outfit, who could blame them.
In one creative example, Eloise Haines had four brightly coloured balloons tied to her hair.
They floated almost as high as principal Nick Braybon is tall, making her quite easy to spot in the playground.
While PJ Day includes fun and games and helps make a cool morning a little brighter - and it certainly was chilly on Friday morning - it’s tied to a very important project for St Michael’s School.
In addition to bringing their favourite nighttime cuddle toy, school families and staff brought in donations for the Mini Vinnies Winter Appeal.
Mini Vinnies is a school program which works with the St Vincent de Paul Society to help people in the community.
To make a range of hampers for local families, clothing, warm blankets and non-perishable food items were requested.
Vinnies Services was also involved in the fun day, greeting students and staff with toasties and hot Milo as they arrived at school.
Others who want to help support the most vulnerable in our community can donate to the Vinnies Winter Appeal at any time.
Donations for local families can be made at the Deniliquin Vinnies Shop, in Napier St, Deniliquin.
Cash donations can also be made online at www.vinnies.org.au or by calling 13 18 12. Donations $2 and over are tax deductible.
