McDonald’s Deniliquin operations supervisor Cameron Hay said successful applicants can receive verified qualifications as part of their employment.
“We still run Certificate II and Certificate III in Retail Services and retail qualifications.
“Employees are paid to complete them and get paid while completing them at work. Someone sits with them, and their qualifications get verification.”
Mr Hay said the career opportunities are available to anyone able to work, regardless of their experience.
“We’re looking for all ages - 14 to whatever age. It’s a perfect first job.”
The store also has delivery driver roles that may suit people already employed elsewhere.
“It can be anyone, even people with full-time jobs who want to earn a bit extra money outside their current jobs by doing delivery.
“Anyone that might be happy to sit in the car during dinner time.”
Another benefit of the open positions at McDonald’s Deniliquin is that they may fit into a suitable time of day.
“There is a place for day-timers as well as night shifts.”
Overall, a job at McDonald’s can be a personally and socially rewarding path,“ Mr Hay said.
“It is a great job to meet people. We also have our own incentive program in which we award a crew member of the month.”
Interested applicants are invited to head into the McDonald’s store at 386 to 388 Charlotte St, Deniliquin from 9am until 5pm tomorrow to speak to the team.
