Police investigate fatal crash in Avenel

The truck caught fire following the crash, and the driver, a 58-year-old Keilor Park man, died at the scene.

Officers are working to establish the circumstances of the crash, which led to the closure of all southbound lanes of the Hume Fwy from Violet Town to Seymour.
