Known for their uncanny recreation of Queen’s legendary sound and stage presence, the Melbourne-based tribute band will deliver a night of anthems, theatrics, and pure rock nostalgia.
Formed in 2024 by five university-trained musicians, Queen Rhapsody has quickly earned a reputation as one of the most authentic Queen tribute acts in Australia.
Fronted by Jake Lonergan, whose vocal power and charisma channel the spirit of Freddie Mercury, the band promises a concert experience that will transport audiences back to Queen’s golden era.
The show is part of the RSL’s monthly live music series, which has previously featured tributes to AC/DC, Fleetwood Mac, and other rock icons.
It’s all part of a broader push to make the venue a hub for high-quality entertainment.
“We are ramping up our entertainment for summer at the Deni RSL,” said RSL operations manager Greg Hough.
“We’re having great live music Friday and Saturday nights, plus Sunday tunes in the beer garden.
“We encourage you to get your Queen Rhapsody show tickets now before they sell out.”
Also coming up at the Deni RSL is Creedence Clearwater Survival, which will take the stage on New Year’s Eve.
The tribute band recreates the unmistakable atmosphere of Creedance Clearwater Revival, with hits like Fortunate Son and Down on the Corner, it’s set to be a night of singalongs and celebration to ring in 2026.
Tickets are selling fast for both special music events. Book yours today at the Deni RSL reception in End St so you don’t miss out.
