Meeting every Tuesday at the old church hall, the group has long been a welcoming space for anyone interested in quilting and craft.
“We’ve had a good year,” vice president Kathy Jenkins said.
Highlights have included a busy calendar that included a trip to Barham for a workshop and several weekend sessions closer to home.
The workshops teach group members new methods of quilting and how to use new materials.
A key workshop this year was learning how to turn old jeans into bags.
The Deniliquilters also host sit and sew days once every two months, giving members extra time to work on projects and enjoy each other’s company.
The group is now taking a short break before restarting on January 6, with new members encouraged to join.
