Deniliquin’s Riding for the Disabled Association held its end of year wrap up and Christmas celebrations last Friday morning.

Attendees brought empty bellies and festive cheer to the event, with plenty of Christmas treats for all to enjoy as they reminisced on the good times created at the Deniliquin Pony Club this year.
Friday’s gathering was the final get-together for the group for 2025, with the group’s activities set to resume in March next year.
Before then, Deniliquin RDA president Luke Harrington said the group is looking for volunteers to enable the program to expand.
“We’ve got a waiting list of riders that want to ride, but not enough volunteers to allow for that to happen,” Mr Harrington said.
“Even if you’re only able to help with grooming and care with the horses, it would be appreciated.
“You don’t need any special skills or to know much about horses.
“All you need is a good attitude and to want to help.”
