He won the feature $4000 Lionel Sweeney Open Saddle Bronc Ride on a re-ride, after his drawn horse Miss Cactus was fouled on the chute gate.
Riley claimed the win with 84 points.
The open bull ride was won by Kyle Horton, and the Ladies Barrel Race by South Australian competitor Candy Michaelis.
Cloncurry rider Kade Ferguson won the Russell Offord All Around Champion Cowboy Memorial Buckle.
He impressed with a second placing in bull ride and fifth in the saddle bronc.
Tom Job took home the Frank Stockham Memorial Buckle for winning the second division saddle bronc.
The Junior All Around Champion Cowboy was Jackson Ramsay, who had a win in the junior bull ride and placed in the steer ride.
Junior All Around Champion Cowgirl was Macey Bryant, with a third in the barrel race and competing in the breakaway roping.
“Both juniors very excited to have won buckles,” committee member Alan Calderwood said.
“A crowd of around 3000 enjoyed an action packed program - which included a full junior rodeo program for the first time.
“The dachshund dog race was another highlight, which saw ‘Frankie’ - owned by Molly Grimley - reach the finish line first.
“Unfortunately, some runners struggled to locate the finish line.”
