The car was spotted about 11.45pm, with police, Deniliquin Rescue Squad - VRA Rescue, Ambulance NSW, Deniliquin Fire + Rescue NSW and the Rural Fire Service deployed.
Police were first on scene, and found the car fully alight about 75m from the highway on private property near the Calcol Rd intersection.
They said it appears the car left the roadway and crashed into a table drain and through a boundary fence, rolling a number of times before coming to a rest on its roof.
It was not until the fire was extinguished that emergency services were able to determine there was noone inside the car.
While emergency services were dealing with the incident, further Triple Zero calls were received about a man walking at the side of the highway about 1km south of the crash site.
The man, a 53 year-old, was taken to hospital for assessment and treatment.

Garden damage
CCTV footage from the Waring Gardens is being reviewed by police after Edward River Council reported damage to the rotunda.
The balustrade and handrail of the historic structure was damaged between April 29 and May 2, which police say was likely caused by kicking it.
Detective Chief Inspector Jy Brown called it a “senseless act”.
“It’s not only an inconvenience to the public, but also to council which now has to pay for it to be fixed,” he said.
