Run over four days, organisers said entries for the Sunday and Monday round robins are still open.
Tournament secretary Dean Irwin said numbers for all events has been “reasonable”, but is expected to grow.
“Entries for Friday and Saturday closed on Friday, but we always get a few entries pretty late in the piece for the other events,” he said.
Irwin said quite a few players travel to play for the popular event, which is highly competitive but still has a friendly atmosphere.
Plenty of events are held in Deniliquin on Easter weekend, with many great accommodation providers available for players, families and friends to experience Deniliquin this long Easter weekend.
Along with the regional Easter events, there are plenty of things to participate in at the championships.
“Sunday is the Wimbledon themed day,” Irwin said.
“People dress up in their Wimbledon tennis white gear, we have Pimms and strawberries and cream.
“It is always a good day.”
A bar is scheduled to be open daily, from 10am to late, with refreshments to keep everyone feeling good while the action occurs on the courts.
While entry for knockout events have closed, Irwin said round robin players can just “turn up” on Sunday or Monday for a game. Fees must be paid at the time of entering.
