Leanne and Jodie Landy and Nicky Burke teamed up to take on other lanw bowlers from across the district.
Leanne also placed third in mixed doubles tennis.
Making that feat even more impressive, she had only met her parter just before play started.
“I only met him that day; lovely fella,” Leanne said, while reflecting the easy camaraderie that defines the Games.
The tennis program ran as a round‑robin, giving players multiple matches and plenty of court time.
In the lawn bowls team event, the Landy sisters teamed up and helped secure a third‑place finish, adding to a solid showing across the weekend.

The annual multi‑sport carnival, known for its friendly atmosphere and emphasis on participation, attracted strong numbers across all divisions.
Events were spread over two days, with team tennis held on Saturday before other sports continued into Sunday.
Events are specifically for competitors aged 30 and over.
Competitors spoke highly of the organisation and the welcoming nature of the event.
“Very well organised,” Ms Landy said, noting the flexibility of the program.
“You pick and choose what sports you want to play.
“Organisers have done a fantastic job and the competitors were lovely.”
