Many private homes and businesses went to great lengths to entertain (and scare!) the children and others who took the time to check out the displays.
The Tuppal Hotel went all out in their beer garden with manager Paul Butler, elegantly attired as a gorilla, keeping an eye on proceedings.
As usual, Elsinore Harris and her family drew a large number of sightseers, both on foot and in cars, to the display which continues to grow each year.
Elsinore finds great pleasure in entertaining and surprising children and other members of the community with her incredible efforts on special occasions.
Eleven local residents made their homes available for trick or treaters, with families invited back to The Tuppal for festivities after they had collected from each.

The hotel offered a night of “horrors, thrills and surprises” with an appropriately theme maze, and had live music from Daine Runnalls Entertainment to round out the evening.
A barbecue complemented the regular hotel meals on the night.
Have you ever wondered what Halloween is all about?
Google shows many explanations, however it is believed to have been part of a Celtic festival held more than 2000 years ago in Ireland, the United Kingdom and Northern France.
It later became associated with Christianity declaring November 1 All Saints Day, a time to honour saints and martyrs.
Brighton Agnew was delighted with his viewing of the Halloween scene at the Harris home.
