The sun was out consistently over the weekend, meaning lots of people were out enjoying some fun in the sun across the weekend.

The temperature reached the low 30s, with it again rising yesterday.
The higher temperatures will see the fire danger warning stay high, so it is a timely reminder to remain vigilant when travelling and contact emergency services if you see smoke and/or fire.
There were a few grass fires in the region late last week, including at Hill Plain as photographed by nearby resident Paul Fellows.
It even closed the Cobb Hwy intermittently over a number of hours (read more on page 3).
It is also a reminder to take extra care on personal sun and heat protection. Remember to slip, slop, slap, seek and slide, and avoid being outside between 11am and 3pm - which is considered to be the hottest part of the day.

Xmas spirit incoming
As the start of December draws nearer, people are starting to decorate for Christmas.
While some prescribe to a rule of when the decorations should go up, others feel it’s never too early.
And with Deniliquin Business Chamber launching its annual Christmas lights competition two weeks ago, some have started decorating in earnest.
The team at the award-winning DeniSPOT have kick started the CBD decorations, which has made a significant impact already.
It’s hard to miss the giant red and gold baubles and bells they’ve hung from the trees outside their Cressy St offices.
The team also did a fantastic job decorating for Halloween. We’ll be watching for further holiday displays.
Focus on pups
Deniliquin Veterinary Clinic’s Puppy Preschool is back and spaces are filling fast.
They have a few more spots available, starting this Thursday at 5.30pm.
Your pup will learn, socialise, and grow in a fun, safe environment with a registered qualified veterinary nurse who has further training in dog behaviour and puppy school instruction.
Perfect for puppies aged 8-16 weeks, the five-week program involves in-clinic socialisation, graduation pack and certificate, nutrition and health education, and support for common behaviour issues.
Call 5880 2888 to book your spot.
The veterinary clinic is also working with Natasha Vearing Photography to offer mini pet Christmas photo sessions on Sundays, December 7 and 14.
Spots for the 15 minute sessions are limited.
You’ll find more information on the vet clinic’s social page.
