On April 25, the annual Girgarre RSL Golf and Bowls Day will take place at Kyabram Valley View Golf and Bowls Club, with all proceeds raised going towards the welfare of Girgarre RSL.
The day will begin early with the dawn service at 5.45am, followed by a gunfire breakfast with sausages and tea.
In the afternoon, the action will move to the greens, with separate golf and bowls competitions scheduled and prizes to be awarded to competition winners.
No prior experience in golf or bowls are needed to participate, and RSL members encourage everyone to come along and give it a go.
Here is some information golfers and bowlers will need to know before heading out on Anzac Day:
Golfers can assemble at 11am for a shot gun start at noon, and bowlers can assemble at 12.30pm for a 1pm start.
Entry fees are priced at $30 a pair for members and women participating in the 4 Ball Best Ball Stableford event.
A Calloway event is also available for a $15 entry fee.
As for the bowls, there will be an open triples event with two bowls per player, at $45 entry fee per team.
