A great preschool starts with great people. At Intereach Community Preschool, we've brought together a team of highly qualified, passionate educators who, together, bring an extraordinary depth of experience and genuine passion for working with young children.
Dayna Cosgrove - Senior Manager, Education and Care
Dayna Cosgrove oversees Intereach's entire Children's Services portfolio. It’s a role that encompasses Outside School Hours Care in Barham and Deniliquin, Family Day Care, the new Community Preschool, and two long day care centres under development in Albury and Huntly.

It's a big job, and Dayna brings more than 15 years of experience in the children's services sector. She started out as an educator and preschool teacher before being given the opportunity to lead a newly established long day care service as Director, a role she held for seven years. From there, she moved into an Area Manager position, overseeing four long day care services, working closely with providers to support each service from the early planning stages through to opening day.
That breadth of experience, from the classroom to service establishment and compliance, gives Dayna a grounded, practical understanding of what it takes to run early childhood services well. She has a deep understanding of the National Quality Standards and a track record of helping services not just meet those standards, but build the strong foundations that let them thrive long term.
For Dayna, one of the most rewarding parts of her career has been seeing new services come to life in communities that need them.
“One of the highlights of my career has been contributing to the successful establishment and growth of high-quality early childhood services,” she said.
“I'm excited to be part of Intereach and look forward to applying my experience across our existing services, while also helping bring new services to life for the communities we support.”

Jane Franklin - Centre Director
Jane Franklin brings more than eight years of experience in early childhood education, along with a diverse background, to her role as Centre Director at Intereach Community Preschool.
Before stepping into early childhood leadership, Jane worked in Out Of School Hours Care as a Supervisor and Program Analyst, held Room Leader and Acting Director positions in early childhood settings, trained and worked as an Assistant in Nursing in aged care, and worked in youth justice. Her career has taken her across some of the most meaningful and demanding areas of community services.
Jane holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care and is committed to ongoing professional development, always looking for ways to sharpen her skills and stay current in a field she clearly loves.
Originally from Melbourne, Jane has called Jerilderie home for the past eight and a half years. She has four adult children and grandchildren of her own, and her passion for working with children has been personal as much as professional.
“I've always loved being around children and wanted to play a role in supporting their education and development,” she said.
“I find great satisfaction in watching children grow, achieve milestones, and build confidence.”
Since joining Intereach three months ago, Jane has felt at home in the organisation and the broader Deniliquin community.
“I love the people, the diverse range of services Intereach offers, and the strong community connections. There is a real sense of support here,” she said.
“A community-based preschool is so important because it brings families together, supports local children, and ensures every child has access to quality early education close to home.”
When she's not at work, Jane enjoys researching family history and spending time with family and friends.

Suzanne - Early Childhood Teacher
Suzanne began her early childhood career in Bendigo in 2004, enrolling in a Diploma of Children's Services while working casually for Bendigo Council across their long day care centres. After completing her diploma and taking on a permanent room leader role working with babies and toddlers, she set her sights on preschool teaching and enrolled in a Bachelor of Teaching, graduating in 2009.
She went on to teach the four-year-old kinder program at a private long day care centre, and when the National Quality Framework introduced the requirement for an Educational Leader in 2012, Suzanne took on that role as well. By 2014, having also completed her Certificate in Training and Assessing, she moved into a trainer and assessor position with a registered training organisation, delivering workplace training to educators working through their early childhood qualifications.
In 2020, Suzanne and her husband made the decision to travel Australia, taking on a range of roles along the way, including outdoor activities facilitation at a school camp in Tathra, NSW, and after-school care at an OOSH program in Broome, WA. It's the kind of experience that's hard to replicate in a classroom.
At the end of 2024, they settled in Deniliquin, and in 2025 Suzanne taught a preschool group at River Region Early Education. When she heard Intereach was opening a community preschool, she didn't hesitate.
“With the news of Intereach opening a community preschool, I was excited to be part of this,” she says, “and very pleased to have secured the teacher role here.”
Deniliquin's gain.
Dayna, Jane, and Suzanne are joined by a team of qualified local educators who share the same commitment to giving every child a wonderful start to their learning journey.
Together, they bring a mix of formal qualifications, decades of hands-on experience, and the kind of genuine warmth that makes children feel safe, seen, and excited to come to preschool each day.
We believe the relationships children build with their educators in these early years matter enormously, and we've built a team that takes that responsibility seriously, without ever losing sight of the fun.
As Intereach Community Preschool continues to grow, we're always on the lookout for passionate, qualified people to join our team. If you love working with young children and want to be part of something that truly makes a difference in this community, we'd love to hear from you.
