Three separate events based around cars and motorbikes will be hosted locally over Friday and Saturday.
This includes the second annual Deniliquin Poker Run fundraiser, and visits by two separate speciality car clubs - The Model T Ford Car Club of Victoria and the Riviera Owners Association.
The Poker Run - a fundraiser for Deniliquin Can Assist - will have a showcase of entrant cars and bikes and cars at the White Lion Hotel between 8am and 10am, before the Poker Run heads off on its tour of other district pubs.
Visiting a number of venues across the Edward River Council footprint, participants can bring their own motorbike or car, or jump on the shuttle bus for an additional fee.
At each of the five venues visited on the run, you’re allocated a card out of a traditional deck. At the final stop, the person with the highest poker hand value will win.
But there’s plenty of other chances to win, with a number of raffles throughout the day.
The Poker Run is coordinated by the Deniliquin Motorycle Riders, and entry is $25 per person. If you wish to take the bus, an additional fee of $10 applies.
Registrations open at the White Lion at 8am Saturday, and to pre-book your seat on the bus, contact Jenni on 0408 546 293.
Also on Saturday, Model T Ford owners attending a three-day rally in Echuca-Moama will make a special trip to Deniliquin to visit The Depot.
The group of about 23 cars will stop at Mathoura’s Memorial Park in the morning, before arriving for their tour of The Depot in Deniliquin about 11am.
Some will also visit the Lions Community Market in the Deniliquin Waring Gardens, where the rest of the touring group will meet them for lunch before they head back to Echuca-Moama.
People are welcome to view the cars in the gardens and speak with the drivers.
The Riviera Owners Association also has a three-day rally in Echuca-Moama this weekend.
This make of Buick was known for their luxury features.
As part of the rally, there will be a day trip to Deniliquin on Friday to tour The Depot.
