Tiny tots strut their stuff for judges

The traditional ‘Miss and Master’ competition once again proved a popular event at the Deniliquin Show.

Held on Saturday morning, there were several categories catering for children beginning with those as young as 18 months.

Girls and boys dressed in their best dresses and finest outfits for the catwalk, and were judged based on their personality, dress sense, grooming, deportment and general appearance.

This year’s Deniliquin Showgirl Rose Nevinson helped judge each event and presented placegetters with sashes and other prizes.

‘‘As 2020 Deniliquin Showgirl, it was an honour to be a part of judging the competition, overseeing our junior showgirls and showmen,’’ Miss Nevinson said.

‘‘It was very difficult to judge as there were good numbers in each category, and all entrants were dressed really well.

‘‘While we did have to narrow it down to three winners for each category, I congratulate everyone for giving it a go.’’
