The Aussie singer/songwriter announced her expanded $10-a-ticket concert offer to do five shows across the country last month.
Revealing one location at a time, the performer has drawn out the announcement process.
The first four announcements have been made which include Ingham in Northern Queensland on February 20, Maryborough in South-Eastern Queensland on February 22, Wollongong on February 27 and Longwood about 50km south of Shepparton in Victoria on March 7.
However, there is still hope for a Deniliquin performance as announcement number five is expected to be made sometime soon.
Deniliquin’s lead campaigner Dakota McKenzie has been continuing to push for a with amazing support from the community, with new posts and comments on social media regularly.
Learning from successful campaigns so far, they’ve been tailored to entice the artist by promising an enthusiastic crowd and a chance to enjoy all the facilities, services and business offers Deniliquin has to offer at the same time.
But Dakota’s underlying message has never changed.
She believes a Tones And I performance is the kind of “uplift” the community needs - especially students - after Deniliquin High School was largely destroyed by fire in November.
