Deniliquin Bowling Club’s Tyler Hillier had a great day on the greens at the inaugural Bendigo/Campaspe/Goldfields under-18 Championships at Kangaroo Flat this week.

Tyler finished the day on top of his section and will be back on the greens today for two more games, aiming to secure a place in the finals.
Craig Hillier and Carly Crothers both competing in Rich River at the weekend for the first round of the state singles, taking on some of the region’s strongest competitors.
It’s a quality field and a big stage.
Well done to Carly Crothers on a strong performance, winning her section and progressing through to the knockout rounds on February 15.

Deniliquin Bowling Club recorded mixed results in Midweek Pennant action on Tuesday.
In Division 1 at Deniliquin, against Rich River, Joanne Bovell went down 16-24, Mark Quor narrowly lost 14-17, while Paul Clear battled to a hard-fought 19-all draw.
Division 3 travelled to Echuca, where Bruce Clancy secured a close 21-19 win, while Ian Chessells was defeated 12-15.
Round 12 of Weekend Pennant kicks off this Saturday, at 9.30am.
Division 2 meets Deniliquin at home.
