Tyn-Men continued their winning streak in the Deni Rams’ Mixed Sporting Globe competition at Deniliquin Stadium on Thursday night, prompting calls for a final round equalisation draft to round out the competition such is their domination right now.

The in-form Tyn-Men swept the court to claim all three matches in a return to basketball in the mixed sport event that is capturing the hearts and minds of the local sporting scene.

The maximum points came down to the final match of the night between Tyn-Men and Pitts Posse, with a win ensuring the four premiership points.

Pitts were well served by Ryan MacDonald and skipper Jayden Pitts, but the ball movement of Aiden Free and Will Shaw proved the difference as the Tyns triumphed 13 to 4.

It was Free who nailed a crucial three-point bomb to give his side the upper hand.

The minor placings went to Mac Attack (third) and Holobowskis Hoods (fourth), but all sides are still in the hunt for glory.

This week will be the final round held at the Deni Sports Stadium, with indoor cricket on the menu and bonus points up for grabs.

There are two rounds remaining in the comp, with the final round is expected to be played at a local hotel with pub pool to decide the season.

Award winners on Thursday night were Jayden Pitts ($30 IGA voucher) and Ryan MacDonald ($30 Globe voucher).
