The Australian National Billy Cart Championships is back for its second year since Covid and is still taking entries for the event - bring your own billy cart, or race a hire cart.
With four days off work, for most people, and school holidays kicking off, there’s an array of fun activities for locals and visitors to the region.

Scrutineering from 7:30-8:45am.
Racing starts at 9am, running to 1:30pm, depending on entries.
Prizes plus People’s Choice Award.
Register to race your billy cart in the championship event at www.australianbillycartchamps.com.au/register to have a crack at taking home the national title – you don’t even need your own billy cart to enter, there are hire carts available.
Activities on Sanger St during the event include buskers, market stalls, a live band, entrants from the Australian Van Nationals, and children’s entertainment, such as pony rides and games.
Repco Australian Van Nationals
The 51st annual Repco Australia Van Nationals come to Corowa this year at RSL Park on Easter Saturday, with plenty on to entertain the whole family.
Easter Saturday
With 170 entrants, this year’s Van Nationals is expected to dazzle as spectators and enthusiasts alike are treated to a spectacular display that pays homage to the iconic Aussie panel van.

Kids and designated drivers have free entry to Campbell’s Wines annual Easter picnic.
Easter Saturday and Sunday, 10.00am - 4.00pm
Food, wine and music all Easter weekend, so bring the whole family for face painting, Wicked Waffles and ice-cream, pizzas, giant games and Easter eggs.
Sausage sizzle for the kids with all proceeds going to The Good Friday Appeal.
Children and designated drivers (non-drinkers) receive free entry, otherwise a ticket is needed. Bring your own chairs and picnic blankets, sealed water or empty re-fillable bottles.
Corowa Lawn Tennis 96th Annual Easter Tournament
Corowa Lawn Tennis Club host their 96th annual Easter Tournament across Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday, with prizes up for grabs for players and free entry for spectators.
April 3, 4 and 5.
9am – 3:30pm each day.
Tournament caters for players eight years old to 80.
Entry is free for spectators.
BBQ lunch, kiosk bar and morning and afternoon tea available throughout the event.
Prizes and trophies awarded throughout the tournament.
