It was a close game until the last few minutes, with lead changes and momentum changes in the first three quarters.
Some strong patches of play and accurate shooting kept Rovers in touch after a very unsettled third quarter.

From the first pass, Rovers showed their determination to control the play, putting Waaia under pressure early in the game.
Great defensive pressure from Jemma Smith and Catie Lewis created opportunities and built the momentum, which was carried into half-time.
Waaia came out with renewed strength in the final half but struggled to consistently match the strong passages of play on display from the Rovers.
Georgia Dudley and Nicole Felmingham played a great game in goals, working the ring and shooting with accuracy.

A great result this week as the team celebrated a tough win at home.
The Rovers had a slow start as Waaia put pressure on early, turning over the ball and converting into an early lead.
The girls worked hard to overcome nerves and settle their play with short, strong passes to be within two goals at half-time.
Rovers showed their fight and determination in the final half as Ellie Fishlock and Kelly Thorpe applied great defensive pressure and the midcourt transitioned the play out of defence and down the court.
Both teams were watching the board in the final minutes as the score tied, before Rovers claimed a great two goal win under pressure.

The game was a nail-biter. With Waaia’s relentless pressure, Rovers had to dig deep and strategise to maintain ball possession.
It was a true display of determination and skill from both teams.
Rovers worked tirelessly, making the most of the rebounds. Their efforts certainly played a big part in their win.
The intensity remained the same for all four quarters making it a thrilling game to watch.

In foggy conditions, the young Roos stamped their authority over the eighth placed Bombers.
Nina Glowrey, Zoe Bassett, Stella Andrews and Lexi Hussey restricted the opposition to six goals.
The midcourt was powered by Amelie Bulmer and Lara Horne who created pressure and forced numerous loose passes.
The shooters - Georgia Danckert, Lilly Boyer and Eva Maher - were accurate and combined beautifully.

In our second last game of the season, the youngest Rovers netballers brought out their best for Waaia.
All over the court the girls kept the pressure on their opponents. Their passages of play down the court were exceptional.
Aleaha Leetham was a key player in defence intercepting countless passes.
Maddi Danckert and Georgie Tweed were instrumental in bringing the ball through the midcourt.
Sophie Bulmer shone, shooting her goals with accuracy.
