Lead by Deni Rhinos Captain Boddie Arthur, who is running the academy independently of the sporting organisation, he will run three age‑group programs between now and May, with 15 spots available in each bracket to ensure strong coaching attention and quality development.
Monday sessions, for ages 11 to 13, will focus on building stronger fundamentals, improving decision‑making and introducing game‑based scenarios.
The session is ideal for juniors who already understand the basics, though newcomers are still welcome.
Wednesday sessions, for ages 6 to 10, are designed to help younger players build confidence, learn core skills and stay active through winter in a fun, supportive environment.
Friday sessions, for ages 14 and over, offer a more advanced, high‑intensity training block for older juniors looking to sharpen their skills and stay connected to the game during the off‑season.
The six‑week program costs $10 per session or $60 for the full block, keeping it accessible for families while providing structured winter development.
Arthur said the academy aims to show young players that cricket does not have to stop when the summer ends.
