A minor flood warning has been issued for the Goulburn River between Lake Eildon and Seymour.
Minor flooding is possible at Seymour early Monday morning.
Moderate to heavy rainfall associated with a strong cold front has the potential to cause river level rises across the Goulburn River catchment during Monday.
On Sunday he Goulburn River at Seymour was at 1.78 m and steady, below the minor flood level. The Goulburn River at Seymour may reach around the minor flood level (3.80 m) early Monday morning. Further rises are possible with forecast rain.
Shepparton recorded 29mm of rain in the 12 hours to 9pm Sunday.
A damaging winds warning was issued for the north east ranges on Sunday when high winds were recorded.
