Thank you to everyone who volunteered their time to help with the organising of the Federation Triples; without volunteers, events like this don't happen.
To the members who assisted with working bees, cooked BBQ's, prepared greens and collated the results and worked tirelessly for two days - thank you.

Social Bowls Tuesday
Three Bowl Triples was contested by 16 bowlers last week.

Runners-up were Gary Brown and Shane Rosenow (Corowa Civic president) with 2Wins +9
Upcoming events
Minor Singles Championship draw has been completed and posted, with rounds one and two on or before September 20.
A marker is required for these matches.
Pennant Practice, Club Corowa vs Rutherglen, will be at Rutherglen on Thursday, September 24 at 5pm.
Please nominate your intention to play at the verandah notice board.
Pennant practice commenced last week and will recur each Thursday afternoon from 4pm.
Coaching with Chris is every Wednesday afternoon at 4.30pm.

Corowa Civic Bowls Club
Last Wednesday, 22 bowlers played social bowls in cool, breezy weather, with a little sunshine.
Winners were Guy Rowe, Ann Climas and Gary Patterson.
Runners-up were Paul Hickey, Ned Young, Peter Robertson and Gary Tree.
On Sunday the club welcomed Howlong Bowls Club for a Pennant practice.
There was a BBQ lunch before the game, with a big thank you to Ray and Brendan for cooking.
This Thursday, the Gwen Tait Ladies Triples Tournament will take place with 32 teams taking part; there is good prize money for the winners.
On Wednesday, September 23, Griffith Bowling Club will be joining us for Social Bowls with a 10am start.
There will be a BBQ lunch included in the fee for the greens.
The Pennant season has come around very quickly, with Weekend Pennant commencing on Saturday, October 10, and Midweek Pennant starting on Tuesday, October 13.

No bowls played on Sunday.
Tuesday’s winners on 18 and 16 (34) were Marie Leary, Jan Webber, Joan Catlin, and Gloria McCuskey, with the runners-up on 17 and 4 (21) being Joe Carnivale, Joan Fletcher, Greg Williamson, and Merylyn Milthorpe
Thursday the winners on 17 and 19 (36) were Marie Leary, Dennis Barry, and Merylyn Milthorpe, with the runners-up on 18 and 4 (22) being Margaret Watson, Wendy Dunbar, Georgie Agnew, and Graham Withers.
