It is a big day for the club, which will host its Sponsors and Life Members’ Day.
It’s back-to-back home games for the club, who are still buoyed after last week’s wins over Mathoura.
Every football team won except the reserves, and the C-grade netball side got their first win of the season.
Both clubs also took part in a Beyond Blue Mental Health round.
In the senior football, it was Blighty’s second win of the season by a convincing 96 points.
Coach Dane Leyden said the team provided a “complete display” against Mathoura.
“It was pleasing to see the boys put together a four-quarter performance from start to finish.
“We didn’t take the opposition lightly and started with pressure and hard work, which we were able to maintain for the day.”
The team will be looking to finish the season on a high and disrupt their opposition’s finals hopes in the next two matches.
It will be a difficult test in the seniors against the third placed Barooga, who have only lost three matches this season.
But the Redeyes are up for the challenge, Leyden said.
“We’re looking forward to playing Barooga. They’ve obviously been playing some good football this year, and once again we need to play our best to match it with them.
“We will need to work hard and keep the pressure up from the start as well as hold our structures.
“We’ll get Sam Singleton back this week, which is always handy as he’s the main engine of the midfield.”
Tomorrow holds extra significance with Blighty Redeyes’ footballer Kyel Bain celebrating his 350 senior games milestone for the club, and 400 club games in total.
“350 games is an amazing achievement, and Kyel has had a fantastic career he can be proud of.
“The boys are super enthusiastic to be able to celebrate the game alongside him.
“He’s coming off a bag of seven goals, so I reckon he’ll be hungry to back it up.
“We’d love to put on a good performance for the sponsors this week.”
