The season was littered with some great milestones, however, including the club’s 75th reunion.
Teams have played practice matches, including against Culcairn from the Hume League, as part of a focused preseason.
In senior football, Dane Leyden will look to build on his first season with the Redeyes.
He came on as senior playing coach last year.
The team was competitive but only managed one win.
The side will be aided by multiple recruits such as Harry Way, David Smith, Darcy Cullenward and Harley Constable in 2026.
Several 2025 Redeyes players also recommitted, including Mason Coote, Jack Charlton, Ari Glover, Isaac Brown and Rusty Milward.
They face a finals side from last season in Jerilderie, who are also expected to have a few added recruits as well.
It bodes well for a tough clash away at Jerilderie.
