The award recognises 50 years service to Cricket NSW and Country Cricket NSW, and his contribution to local and regional cricket administration and junior development.
Bradley had been invited to attend the upcoming fifth test of the Ashes series starting this Sunday, where the award will be officially presented during a function on day four in the Chairman’s Lounge at the SCG.
The recognition capped off a brilliant year for Bradley, who was also inducted in the Murray Valley Cricket Association Hall of Fame in November and was jointly awarded the Southern Riverina Cricket Council Debbie Nicholls Volunteer of the Year Award alongside his wife Cheryl in August.
“You don’t go out and look for these kinds of things, but it’s nice to be acknowledged,” Bradley said.
“It’s about enjoying the great game of cricket, and if you can keep giving back, it’s wonderful.”
The 2025 honours add to an already impressive list of accolades, including life membership to the Deniliquin and District Cricket Association, Deniliquin Junior Cricket Association, West Deniliquin Cricket Club, Riverina Cricket Zone, Deniliquin PSSA, Edward River Junior AFL, and the Deniliquin Junior Soccer Club.
Bradley was also awarded an Order of Australia in 2007 for his service to sport and education.
